What do you see? Do you see..words? letters? sentences? a telephone booth trying to pee but some how managed to barely escape the horror of getting caught in a left arm chainsaw trying to get the locust to find Mr Wong out of the celery's pants? Life is so random at times...from what I see...its just what life is supposed to be...fun...i can just take out one letter and put three sentences together that don't even make sense...hey..lets try that.. Now a ( thats one! ) complete update on the all-up-ons... yes..sorry..its been a long time...I just fixed my com last night.. thanks to John Wong for ALL the help. Now for a detailed ( or so maybe ) experience of my life in the past few weeks ( or so ) 1st of all..I had a baby...yup she's pregnant...sorry about that people... hehehe...saspen juga kan? just kidding...look i can't even afford to eat everyday under my own expense..baby lagi...pecah ko men.. so now the real thing...1st of all ( no babies ) I got myself a fretless...yes...finally after months and months and sessions after sessions of cataloging-in-the-toilet...i finaly resorted to a lower-end bass...yes..partly because of 3 reasons... 1. Look...Jaco din have a kick bass..in fact its so messed up its wrong...so whats the use of getting a good one if i can't play like Jaco? Though i WOULD like to play like him...hehehe... 2. I had to wait until December...which means MORE waiting...I CAN"T STAND IT ANYMORE!!! 3. I wanted to use my own bass for the Arise concert..we'll get to that a bit later..cos I uh...honestly..REALLY don't like the Soundgear ( notice no colour font? ) Powerhouse bought..serious...no hard feeling guys...but the moment i touched that thing its just not Jude like..can't feel...yeah...expect the bass to be heavily punished by the Jaco wanna-be...btw her name is Tracy... So now a bit about the ever so awesome...jeng jeng jeng...ARISE CONCERT!! Yes...it was ( is! ) awesome..serious..I mean..if you din go..too bad...but if you did...please scroll down to the other part of this post..cos you guys already know how awesome it was ( is! )...heheh...just kidding...every testimony for the Big Guy is worth saying over and over again...cos the Big Guy deserves everything we can give...wait a minute...i mean he deserves everything we CAN give...yeap...you figure that out... So we had a line up of awesome people for the event of course the dancers, praises, the guys doing everything and of course...the ARISE band!! yes...i gotta say our band is by far chun berabis..hehehe...yes it was.. we had the lineup of Janice from BCCM Likas as band 'manager', together with David Chio on the 2nd axe, Peng on the main axe, Edward on the tree axe, Kety from BCCM Penampang on the 2nd pads together with the "Uncle Brendon" on main pads, David Chong on the gongs, and uh...me...yeah...on the broad axe... tis the best ever when we had practices like mad...nothing mattered more than playing our best for the Big Guy...yep... and now...um..i kinda lost my way..forgot what to post about...maybe thats it..yeah...ok...um..pics from ARISE concert coming soon..and some other pics...you guys rock...and here's a new one.. Updates in a long time...no? yes.... So whats up? Well...judging by the last post..I'm way outdated... So the most recent stuff about me..holidays have ended..so sem 2 starts... TOMORO!!! Yes it does...so expect me to be busier than usual..book early!! heheh... So what did I do during holidays? NOTHING....serious...NOTHING... well I did do something...if you consider nothing as a verb... Well except for the inevitable practices..occasional yam chas..and of course the time where phones are just not ringing...or turned on for that matter.. BUT!!! I did go to Labuan..t'was one Tuesday night.. one Sharmaine Cicak called to ask if I was interested to go to well...where else...Labuan.. so I agreed...and uh...we went la...what else... So On Thursday morning last week, me ( Jude ), Joe, and Cicak gathered at the customs/port..and we got into the boat...hungry, unprepared for the epidemic ( epidermic ) journey, sleepy, kinda broke, and entertainment-less...yep..nothing to do at all in the ferry...well...there was this chinese movie with Vivian Hsuk in it..gosh she's hot..hotter last time that is..now she's kinda..weird..and the old school movie The Gods Must Be Crazy 2...gosh...I couldn't even sleep..Cicak and Joe slept like a pig..which I can't..stupid boat ride....3 hours of total torture..I would rather be talking to me hand..but since there was no reception in the middle of the sea ( see? ) I can't use my phone...if you know... By 11 in the morning we FINALLY ARRIVED in Labuan..I can't feel my colon..my brain ( which is most probably all the time ) and my legs..it was so bad I wanted to go back in the boat and spend the rest of my life with the stupid chinese movie... Mavis was already there waiting for us..in the car la of course..so we got in the car..and went around town..1st stop we went to UK had a ree-dee-kew-luhs-ly expensive lunch there..never again..never am I going there...I mean the food court..its a pure place of evil-money-making-schemers...then had a few rounds...went to the museum..which was about 3 mins drive...yes...ree-dee-kew-luhs...also the marine park..and some other places... After about...a few hours or so outside...we went to Mavis' house and hang'ed out there until night...man her whole family look alike...and I guess her mom's age correct...yay...and uh...her sister kinda hot..though she's married with one child...hahaha...even the maid looks like them... The whole trip in Labuan was basically ( bassically ) us five people..which was Me, Gen, Mavis, Cicak and Joe...we did stuff like...uh...horse riding..pumping while singing, eating peas..telling stuff ppl aren't supposed to know cept' us..smelling boots, uh...and eating benjo...yep...massive fun we had there... then came the day we had to go...which was actually the next day...so we went out early..about 7 something to catch the boat..but somehow the boat is...uh...10 am..so we had to wait again...in Mavis' house...her mom was kinda cool..haha...cooked us some mee hoon...with squid on it..so I was kinda carefull while eating..sorry...but its a cool thing to not eat meat..for me that is..haha... So when we finally got in the ferry, again, unprepared, though full, slightly constipated, still no room for entertainment...cos we brought nothing to entertain us...and the movie was so bad it sucked...ironic no? And it was one of them new boats the port just bought...about 3 of them i think...and We were on them new ones...we as in everyone cept Mavis...she flew back the same day..Joe got them jibblies and showed us the wonder of chinese curry with green peas...please...the horror... So thats pretty much the Labuan trip...much of my time there I thought about me PurpleMonkey...sorry no pics..forgot to bring cam.. AND NOW... For the FFD we had in Melinsung...it was JUST as if were...haha...sorry I couldn't resist..What I meant was it was kinda same old same old..only diff is I'm NOT studying this time...and I'm not eating anything other ppl brought...yep..gave them a taste of me oatmeal...yep...then threw Christine into the sea...and uh...yeah...that was pretty much it...then at NIGHT...we had this surprise party for her..in Pizza Hut...yep...it was REALLY a surprise...cos she at least scream for 2 seconds...and her heart was at least in her knee by then...yup..awesome time... OK 1st things 1st...I just uploaded...well...not really uploaded...what I'm trying to say is I just put in a new song... I didn't give it any thought...instead whats going on was like " Maybe next week when I'm playing something I can do it " But somehow it struck me...its totally stupid and ignorant and selfish of me to think and ATTEMPTING to think like that...its just so wrong man...I read of this book by Tom Kraeuter where it explained that somehow the worship team was an avenue for musicians to emenate their skills and what not...I gave it a few thoughts...confessed my sins...prayed, and guess what? Next week when I play...even if I don't...its gonna be all of me...you heard me flakers? ALL OF ME... Speaking of worship...last week was the ever so awesome Powerhouse FM CONFERENCE!!!! Yes it was...yes it was... It was crazy with capital R...I mean..capital C... It was disappointing a bit at 1st when a lot more of the FM din't turn up... but I set in my heart I'm gonna go on anyway...I had one heck of a time... with everything going on I barely had anytime to reflect what has happened...what have I learnt...and whats gonna change after that...its just so awesome... Terrible news for some of you...my cat dies...I mean died...yes...sad as it is... here's the funny thing... I had two ( thats 2! ) cats initially.. One named Sayur and another is Kesian... So happens that Sayur died 1st.. RIGHT after I came back from Spore, ok...then apparently my mom got another cat aptly named Something Tail ( I can't remember the something ) cos the tail was a bit weird. Guess what? Something Tail died. I know...now I'm left with one cat and...well...the weirder thing is the most pathetic named of all cats survived... Sups every peoples....Just got Dream Theater's new album Octavarium...Its an Awesome album but compared to Dream Theater's previous albums...this is kinda following a bit of the mainstreams... Uploaded with REALLY degraded bitrate...so quality is super lousy...sorry ah.. So I was just listening to the songs and I read the lyrics...some are questionable.. so check out the lyrics "true" meanings...and so such reviews came... >>>DT Octavarium Review<<< ( CLICK ) The song you're listening to now is from Octavarium titled Sacrificed Sons Honestly I pondered and thought about this album's content ( lyrically and theme ) for a LONG TIME...and somehow...it just stumbled in my mind... " Man...thats so true... " I mean...the world is SO messed up now...I think Dream Theater is doing their part in letting the world know whats going on. Not because I'm a Dream Theater fan...but because I know whats going on around today and I don't like a single bit of it... Lameness...it seems almost everybody has a pinch of it...some have more...some don't have at all that its lame they don't... All the more I noticed church attending youths, ( and some other uh...old'er' youths ) are lamer than some of my friends in college...specially those from West M'sia...I mean...how lame can you get? Specially those " whats this? " and then they do some gesture which has NOTHING to do with " whats this? " ooh ooh...and those where you're supposed to think REALLY hard to guess like " Anna's aunt had an accident...did she die? " those kinds and somma like " ok lets sees you be's cool " and you loose the joke or riddle you're supposed to do something no one else in the world does...like maybe dig your nose and ask some innocent guy or maybe some other feller in your church camp that doesn't hang out with the normal bunch...or abnormal bunch... Man those are the best...like you go to this uncle while digging your nose and ask " Uncle ah...got green green or not oh? " and you point inside your nose and show all those stuff I bet he doesn't wan to see...of course you kena whack la..but its fun... I went through Lionel's blog...he had some inspiring moments...like meatballs and Fruitcakes...man never knew juggling balls were such a hit... And then there's the lameness of my classmate in college...Jonathan the vegetarian too...serious man...like...Discover The Joy Of Soy...anyways...back to the lameness that life is...never hang out with vegetarians man ( inclusive of me )...they super lame...serious...dunno why... As I'm typing this my cats are playing around the house...like running around ( thats what they mostly do...like chasing... ) and pounding each other..trying to jump over the leg rest of the chair...trying to rip of the plastic under the aquarium...man..super cute...super cute...I mean...they go around biting each others butt...and last night one of them tried to climb on to my lap while I was on the comp...suddenly jump up....HALFWAY onto my knee...SCRATCH and CLAW its way up to my lap...man that was SO good...never gonna happen again...serious...though I'm vegan..don't temp me...hehe Ok I just got a copy of a VCD of my hero, Jaco Pastorius LIVE!! WHOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!! ( And as my friend Casandra says....." WHOA~!! YES!! I AM BACK!!! YAY!!! What I have to say about GCYC is...well...alot... Lets start of with whats GCYC 1st... Its actually a convention about Christians ( youth in particular ) across Asia..we got people from Indonesia, Timur Leste, Phillipines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka, China, and..um...I dunno still got or not cos thats all I'm able remember... So we gather and share about our own countries...and let everyone know whats going on...have a little fun doing it...what am I talking about...we had GIMOUNGOUS fun doing it!!! Everyone was so eager to share some were...uh hum...VERY excited... People all over shared differently and had different ways of presenting it...As a Malaysian..Of course I'll say Malaysians are the Best...but man...the other guys were ( and still are ) awesome! SERIOUSLY!! Those guys ( of course got girls la ) were singing...dancing...talking ( yeah they did ) and stuff...we Malaysians could never have though and done that...but everyone unique in their own way amen? I mean how could the overall coolness Sri Lankans danced like the cute and heart catching Vietnamese right? And vice versa of course...seroiusly man...the Sri Lankans looked so cool...the way the speak and well...looked...and accent...Sri Lankans Tamil different than Malaysians Tamil...they sounded so cool...and the pretty pretty girls from Vietnam, whoazus...never knew Vietnamese were SSSSSOOOO pretty...they looked Chinese...then I knew that its just like us Malaysians chinese...we're not people from China..just Chinese people from Malaysian...so its the same in Vietnam...serious dude...they super cute!!! Just check out the photos I've taken...their coming in a jiffy so keep you're fingers on the mouse... The pictures from the convention itself speaks louder than words...BTW..its done in FCBC which stands for Faith Community Baptist Church...awesome place..in a place called Touch Community Theater or just simply TCT, awesome place... Then had Singaporean food...dunno how you defined that...but I had their chicken rice...same lah...laksa...chun berabis ( for those who dunno what that means... it means super awesome...I got people from China and Japan reading this so gotta make things clear ) and toured around Singaporean streets and buildings...went to Chinatown and China Square, the Merlion, Fullerton Hotel, and a bunch of other awesome places...their in the photos..again..its gonna come up soon...so don't worry.... Our host was a bunch of REALLY cool people...I can't really remember their names...But I'll try...so theres Rong Hui, Ps Lily, Lynette ( I think thats how you spell it ), Terrence ( thanks heaps dude ), Wei Ern ( JAY CHOW )...um...yeah...thats all I can remember...its hard to think when you're really lame and braindead... Then in Prince George's Park or PGP or ( I'm gonna regret putting this ) Place Go Pang-Sai ( which means um...important business...gotta save some face ) is where I stayed and hang-out with other cool Malaysians...like Chris our babe-conductor, Rachel our drama-conductor ( sorry I forgot your surname ), Caleb our Sabahan-West-M'sian, Lydia our sotong girl ( sotong is squid...refering to where she is quite blur all the time ), Rachel Tan the cutest girl around...this Rachel I can remember surname cos she said in from of me...haha...and ALOT more other super-cool Malaysians...yep...their in the pictures ( coming soon! ) Special thanks to Ps Victor and Kelly Wong...super awesome fellers... Today is a Sat...means tonight got Powerhouse...yahor...forgot today is Sat...Last night went out with Kelvin, Ah Xiang, and How Kor...we went makan 1st...I din eat lah...number one is because I'm kinda TRYING to save as much money as possible...never know what might happen. So after that we went CX and kicked some nusses!! Yeah Baby...Four of us against 20 other guys...it was the best...whoop their nusses I might say...we were leading 65 to 12 ya nusses!!! HA!! We went home at 2am...so...I was home about 2.15...slept at friggin' 4...I think I might have insomnia...then the STUPID FELLER ( I'll tell no names ) makes these HUGE and ANNOYING noises at 7 waking me up...crap man...I slept for 3 friggin' hours...then my neighbour came to my house at about 8 and somemore MAKING MORE STUPID NOISES WAKING ME UP AGAIN!!! stupid...can't a man have his beauty sleep...so I gave them a payback...not telling how... Anyways people's ( wonder if I can use the word like that ) been asking me hows life and...school......and...whole loadsa stuff they normally ask...I'm kinda sick of it... " Hey Jude...Hows Life? " " UM....dunno....I'm still alive what " You know those kinda overly used generic conversations...sick of 'em. So I decided to make a "overly used generic answer to the 'hows your life' question" ...which is " OK Lah " so don ask me " just ok? " next time....I won't answer it... And somehow hor....these few days hor...I've been having HUGE ideas on how to use photoshop....kinda impress myself...anyways...the pics below are made by me...using photoshop only...and uh...some are kinda abstract..enjoy...
